Gearbox enthousiast over Wii U

Aliens: Colonial Marines is een van de games die dit jaar naar de Wii U komt. Ontwikkelaar Gearbox is erg enthousiast over de Wii U en geeft aan dat de game op de console van Nintendo de meest complete versie zal zijn. Randy Pitchford, het hoofd van Gearbox legt uit waarom:

If you love Xbox 360 games, you are not used to being in a world where you have this new interface. But once you get used to that, you imagine the possibilities. There are some opportunities that are just not possible on any platform that does not have that device.

Jammer genoeg wil Pitchford nog niet vertellen hoe de tablet van de Wii U precies gebruikt gaat worden:

I don’t want to give spoilers away on some of the things we are thinking of or things we have actually implemented already, but there are a lot of cool opportunities with that device that are going to make a very unique and compelling experience on that platform.

Aliens: Colonial Marines komt in de herfst naar de Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 en dus de Wii U en is een shooter gebaseerd op de film Aliens.
