Eerste DLC-pakket voor The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited heet Imperial City

Imperial City wordt het eerste DLC-pakket voor The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. In deze uitbreiding reizen we af naar de Imperial City, een stad die overgenomen is door de Daedric prins Molag Bal. Drie allianties moeten daardoor niet alleen strijden tegen elkaar, maar ook tegen de Daedric strijdtroepen.

Bethesda belooft uren speelplezier dankzij de toevoeging van onder andere nieuwe gebieden, quests, vijanden en items. Het DLC-pakket is gratis voor mensen met een actief ESO Plus-lidmaatschap, anderen kunnen de uitbreiding aanschaffen voor 2500 Crowns. Voor 20,99 euro kun je 3000 Crowns kopen, dus de DLC kost omgerekend 17,49 euro.

De officiële beschrijving van de nieuwe content luidt als volgt:

New PVE and PVP Content
Featuring six distinct Imperial Districts, battle against the forces of Molag Bal as well as the other Alliances.

Additional Dungeons
The extensive Imperial Sewers network offers new PVP and PVE challenges for small groups of adventurers, while White-Gold Tower and Imperial Prison challenge PVE adventurers with Normal and Veteran versions.

New Quests, Enemies, and Characters
Whether participating in massive PVP battles in the Imperial Districts, or adventuring in one of the new dungeons, players will be introduced to new quests and enemies, including the Xivkyn.

Addition of New Currency, Weapons, and Armor
Fight the forces of Molag Bal to plunder Tel Var Stones, a new form of currency you can use for exclusive Veteran Rank 16 weapons and armor, or search for new Treasure Vaults containing other rare finds.

Imperial City-Exclusive Collectibles and Items
Exploring Imperial City or visiting the Crown Store will reward the player with a host of new collectibles including pets, mounts, costumes, and polymorphs!

De Imperial City DLC verschijnt op 31 augustus voor de pc. Xbox One-bezitters kunnen er vanaf 15 september mee aan de slag, PlayStation 4-gamers moeten nog een dagje langer geduld hebben.
