Multiplayer Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End krijgt tot het voorjaar van 2017 gratis content

De release van Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End komt steeds dichterbij en veel PlayStation 4-bezitters kunnen niet wachten om opnieuw op schattenjacht te gaan met Nathan Drake. Naast de singleplayercampagne bevat Uncharted 4 natuurlijk ook een uitgebreide multiplayermodus en ontwikkelaar Naughty Dog heeft daar nu een boekje over opengedaan.

Zo heeft de studio een roadmap vrijgegeven waarin de toekomstplannen voor de multiplayer van Uncharted 4 worden getoond. Hieruit blijkt dat we tot het voorjaar van 2017 nieuwe gratis content mogen verwachten, waaronder nieuwe maps, wapens en een co-op-modus.

De Amerikaanse ontwikkelaar laat daarnaast weten dat de multiplayer van Uncharted 4 een viertal verschillende modi, namelijk Command, Team Deathmatch, Plunder en Trails, bevat en dat je Team Deathmatch ook ranked kunt spelen:

Command: In this mode, you’ll capture Command Sites for a steady flow of points, or knock out enemy Captains for a large point bonus. Command emphasises teamwork and a large part of that comes from protecting your Captain.
Team Deathmatch: A fight to the end with teammates at your side. The goal is to score a certain number of points to win, with each enemy KO being worth one point.
Plunder: In Plunder, grab the idol and return it to your treasure chest for one point. You can throw and climb with the Idol.
Trials: Set up as pseudo competitive matches, players go up against enemy NPC opponents with the goal of getting a high score using specific multiplayer mechanics. Each of the 10 Trials will include different levels of difficulty and will award Relics for completion.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is vanaf 10 mei beschikbaar voor de PlayStation 4.
