Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration verschijnt 11 oktober

Rise of the Tomb Raider verschijnt inderdaad in oktober voor de PlayStation 4. Square Enix bevestigde het gerucht met de onthulling van Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration. Deze versie van Rise of the Tomb Raider wordt op 11 oktober uitgebracht.

Naast de game Rise of the Tomb Raider bevat deze speciale 20 Year Celebration ook een nieuw hoofdstuk genaamd Blood Ties en een nieuwe coöperatieve spelmodus Endurance. Er is PlayStation VR-ondersteuning voor Blood Ties en ook bevat deze versie alle DLC, extra outfits, wapens en Expedition Cards.

Al deze extra content, afgezien van de VR-ondersteuning, wordt ook beschikbaar gesteld voor Xbox One en pc-gamers. Als je beschikt over de Season Pass krijg je al deze content geheel gratis.

Blood Ties wordt een bijzonder hoofdstuk, inclusief zombies! Square Enix omschrijft het hoofdstuk als volgt:

Blood Ties, a new premium DLC, beckons players to explore Croft Manor in a new story mode; then defend it against a zombie invasion in Lara’s Nightmare. When Lara’s uncle contests ownership of the Manor, Lara must explore the estate to find proof that she is the rightful heir, or lose her birthright and father’s secrets for good. Players can then test their zombie-killing skills in the replayable Lara’s Nightmare mode: a haunted Croft Manor where players have new challenges and must rid the Manor of an evil presence.

    Ik heb ook gehoord dat er een artbook zou inzitten?

    Er komt een Limited Edition van deze nieuwe versie, waarin inderdaad een artbook zit. 🙂

    Normaal ben ik geen voorstander van season passes tenzij ze echt veel content toevoegen. Bij Rise of the Tomb Raider heb ik het gewaagd en tot nu toe nog geen spijt van gehad.

    Naast de single-player en Baba Yaga heb ik me nog uren vermaakt met allerlei andere content. Ik start Rise of the Tomb Raider nog altijd regelmatig op om mijn record te verbreken in Endurance of Cold Darkness Awakened of speel soms een aantal potjes van de expeditie modus.

    Nu is er zelfs een nieuwe hoofdstuk aangekondigd en Endurance in co-op, hoe vet is dat dan?
