Goed nieuws voor mensen die graag de livestreams van gametoernooien kijken: het is vanaf nu mogelijk om je Steam-account te koppelen aan Twitch. Dit is niet alleen handig, het levert je ook leuke extraatjes op.
Dankzij de koppeling kun je, tijdens het kijken van een Twitch-stream, beloond worden met speciale items voor de betreffende game. De enige vereiste is dat je een ticket hebt voor het toernooi. Valve vertelt:
We realize that people have different reasons why they prefer to watch in game or via streams and wanted to bridge the gap of features they were missing out on by choosing the service that works for them the most.
