Vandaag zijn de laatste beta-tests van XBOX Live begonnen. Zo’n 10.000 gamers uit Noord-Amerika hebben het Xbox Live Beta Starter Pack ontvangen en mogen nu online gamen en alle kanten van XBOX Live eens grondig bekijken. De XBOX.com site meld onder andere nog het volgende:
Zullen er ook tests zijn in Europa en Japan?
xbox.com: “We are planning to have testers from Japan and Europe enter the beta in August and September. Specific dates for each will be announced shortly. Stay tuned.”
Wat zullen de verwachtingen zijn van XBOX Live?
xbox.com: “In many ways it will mirror the Xbox launch. We’ll have a flood of gamers who get hooked and tell their friends about it. And in time we’ll gain acceptance from the masses as they discover just how cool it can be to play with your friends no matter what time it is and no matter where they live. We believe that over time Xbox Live will help set Xbox apart and help us define the future of this business.”
Tot XBOX Live wordt gelanceerd is het dus nog even wachten voor alle beta-tests succesvol is afgerond… ik verwacht dat we eind dit jaar wel in Nederland online kunnen XBOX-gamen!
